Meeting Location:

Meeting location is at the intersection of Pioneer Blvd. and 183rd Street (Artesia, CA 90701). Exact meeting details will be provided immediately upon purchase of tickets.

What's Not Included?

Tour stops include an all-vegetarian grocery store with in-house bakery and aisles of imported Indian and Pakistani grocery items, a department store with Indian clothing, accessories and a beauty salon, a renowned jewelry store with an entire floor devoted to 22K gold jewelry, an authentic Indian restaurant for lunch and a traditional Indian sweets shop. Be prepared to be fully immersed in the customs and cultures of India from narrative provided by both your tour guide as well as from the proprietors of the businesses visited.

Parking is free of charge in the parking lot of the grocery store where the tour begins. Parking in this lot is typically plentiful at the tour starting time.

I had been wanting to visit this area for several years. Now, with a native Pakistani as our guide, that was the icing on the cake. I highly recommend this tour to Indian culture and food lovers, and to folks that are curious about the culture, and have not had such an experience.

Farhana, our tour leader was knowledgeable, professional and fun to be around. Lunch was offered and I liked it a lot. This is my second tour with Melting Pot and I've had a great time every time. It's fun to feel like a tourist in your own city...so many different cultures in LA that there's always something new to learn.
